Best friends?

Alright honey, no need to start fretting about giving me NO as an answer. I was pretty much just talking to space.


So ignore me. I'll tell you I can't make it anyway if you tried fixing a date. Going to be a busy bee. The free time I have most probably would be spent on sleeping. Recently a kid asked me what meditation is and if I meditate. I said, yes I do, just that people do it sitting up and I do it lying down.

Everything happens for a reason. Last night, I realised something, one that I had always known but refused to face. Something about a friend who sees me as a best friend but whose feelings have always been unrequited.
Ok now I've successfully made myself sound like some Juliet who's dealing with non-Romeo boys. Oh yay.

Some friends stay friends because they are alike.
Some friends stay friends even when they're very different because there's a party who's allowing the other's flaws to flourish by being easy-going.

Thing is, we wouldn't be easy-going to people whom we really care about, because we would want them to know and like or at least accept the real us.

All that said, I would never initiate a showdown.
Been there, done that, sometime in high school.
