Break-Mummy-fast and the sweetest couple

You wouldn't believe how readily my mum agreed to my suggestion to go to Mac's for breakfast.

But that's only for me, the daughter of 25 years to know.
Because she shrugged her shoulders and said, "Ok lor." like she's not that keen anyway when I asked if we should go to Macdonald's with the super-wide-&-silly grin.
She loves her sausage mcmuffin with egg please. No egg don't want hor, sorry ah.
But you wouldn't have been able to see through her nonchalance. Understanding of this kind is exclusive.

Anyway after a very nice breakfast, made niceST because I had it with mummy, we went shopping at NTUC.

Ok, stop being jealous of me and my perfect life.

As we were approaching the escalator, we saw this old couple. Ahgong was walking with a limp, and Ahma was holding his hand.

Me: So sweet to bring her husband out despite it being inconvenient.
Ma: Ya lor. Strange hor?
Me: Because she hasn't given up on him.
Ma: Very loving. Even when they're old.
Me: And they're so sure. Of each other. Of themselves. They don't care about how the world sees them.

The last part I thought to myself.
If not my mummy might cry lor. No tissue, cannot cry.
She cries watching 9.5 out of 10 drama serials.
