Specially for my PJC Vice-Cap, Mabel

Met my PJC girls for dinner 2 days ago to celebrate Mabel's birthday. Tomorrow's her actual birthday! April's Fool Day, cute huh?

We decided to call her Meibel that day. Mei = pretty. Of coz, she's always pretty, not only on her birthday! Look inside her heart, and you'll even see heaven. But too bad, she's attached recently, no longer available. Haha.

The twins, Kailin (second from left) and Kaiwen (second from right), sandwiched between two SandyS. Those two girls are problematic. Twins, but never want to feel like twins. Deliberately sit away from one other, take photo with Sandy one by one. Seriously, if you two are reading this, stop your nonsense ok? Photocopied each-others!

My vice-cap is like the sweetest girl ever. Soft exterior, but immensely strong deep within. She touches your heart with all her little actions and words. Love you Meibel!

Only half the team, but a great gathering nevertheless.

So, I was very enthusiastically asking Mabel about her new boyfriend. And she told us the details, blushing and all. It's nice to see her happy. BUT, the arrow had to be turned towards me. One of the twins, as usual the troublemakers, asked, "HANXIANG, SO WHEN'S YOUR TURN?" *more questions* HANAH HANAH.. I know what you all are thinking. Time to join in the fun! Whatever.. show me how 烦 you can get, alright? I'm steady. ;)

Hai.. super auntie for them to be asking this kind of questions ok. Sounded like the adults. Maybe my girls are getting old ya? Never mind, I would still love you!

Papa: "Eh! 可以考虑一下他mah!"

He'll start irritating me whenever he knows somebody's interested. Our family functions like that. We announce most things to everyone so that when a bad thing happens, the whole house rocks and when a good one does, the whole house hops with joy. That's why I've recently turned to keeping quiet about matters that will invite incessant questioning and 'advice', and only talking about crap with my parents, intellectual crap nevertheless. *adjusts lens-less spectacles*

Mama: "Eh! Xiu Qin 阿姨要请你去跟他的儿子见面 leh! 她讲你很乖.......*buzzing*"

She just told me this last night. I don't even know why I am telling you all about this when it's so damn embarrassing. BUT, please take note, that's what my mother told me, all her 一厢情愿. I can choose to ignore her rubbish, and YES, I'm choosing to ignore her rubbish. AUNTIES! What age are we living in now huh? And the aunties actually want to have a matchmake-yay-so-fun-so-where-should-we-go-have-tea-and-dimsum-session arranged for their kids. Really, I can't blame my mum for this. Afterall, she's an auntie, but it still hurts quite a bit to know that MY MOTHER, like all other mothers, is so auntie. Maybe it's just peer pressure.

All the other relatives and some friends: " Eh! 去找一个 lah! 学校没有 meh?"

Like, HELLOOOO? 男朋友不是用找的, 可以吗? Wah lao.. they're desperate. BUT I'M NOT. I'm steady. Prince Charming will come riding on his horse one day. Recall a past entry. One good-and-long-awaited-one is better than many fun-MISTAKES-before-the right-one. I simply have no courage to try first then see how, maybe it will work out. Didn't know I'm so lousy right? Now you know lah. In any case, I'm happy and contented with everything I have now. I like my present state.

OK, time to laugh like a hyena, time to laugh at me! This blog is for entertainment, remember? Just make sure you are alone in front of the computer, if not all that effort put into creating a good self-image will be gone.
