It's Grandpa's death anniversary again. Is there a better way that I don't know of to call it?
So I was alone at the driving centre just now, more-than-half-convinced I will not pass.
Alot of things happened in that mere two hours that I was there.
1) I forgot my test time is 10.30am and remembered it as 9.50am. Checked with the invigilator at 9.40am. Got rejected. He said I was late. I said, in my mind, "HUH?". But I understand myself very well, so I went to check again and used the time I had left to get my provisional driving license. YAY.
2) I passed my advanced theory. Yeah yeah, big deal! But it is, you know, for me. DOUBLE YAY!
This is such a classic example for ti gong tia gong lang, 天公疼傻人。
3) I texted Hanxu while acting busy with last-minute revision, "Today feels weird. It's like 8 years back, during Wai Gong's funeral. Doing exam revision and thinking about him at the same time."
4) I passed my advanced theory, like how I passed my Olevels.
It still amazes me how I'm always so favoured by Luck.
It's not a good thing I'm still missing my Grandfather now. One year more is a year weaker. Too many strings attached.
If given a choice, I'd choose to be a loner. Then I won't hurt and get hurt.
AHHH. Must be the rain.
But writing it out provides closure so YAY!
