4/11/2008

Was on half-day leave yesterday to go taitai-ing with Wai Po, Ah Yi, Mama, Hanxu and Yiqi.

It was good, reminiscent of our regular outings to the dimsum place when we were little and our Mums were young. I don't mean our Mums are no longer young. Just not THAT young.

Ok, can feel that emo-ness creeping up on me again.

It was a classic taitai day, ending with coffee at Tiong Bahru market. Well, my Auntie chided me when I suggested Starbucks/Coffee Bean (Omg, I forgot Coffee Bean's called Coffee Bean! Had to make Hanyan tell me! Senile already, damn!) because the nearest outlets are in Orchard where "parking very hard lah!"

Ok, she said that in Mandarin: "Orchard 我不会 park 啦!"

So touching to have aunties like these who always help me save money at the expense of under-rating their parking skills.

Ok, I'm not talking sense now.

Must be bad karma that my reasoning skills are being slowly taken away from me.

I don't know why I'm so fickle everytime.
Was telling Hanxu about this guy whom I supposedly was having a crush on.
A tiny one, but nonetheless, a crush.

Ok, I know, technically, at this age, I shouldn't be even having crushes on guys.
I should just go up to them, tell them I like them and
1) if they like me too, demand a first date right there and then OR
2) slap them if they just take me as a friend.

No time to lose already. Should be more straightforward. Right?

RIGHT.

Nah, I was kidding. I'm crazy (Sometimes only. I insist.), not PSYCHO.

ANYWAY, I was complaining to Hanxu about how irritating the guy is.
And I make him sound completely OFF.

Hanxu said I'm evil.
My sister told me I'm evil.
How worse can this get?

Oh please, tell me why I change so quickly?

The scary thing is this - If I had told him I liked him, wouldn't it be super embarrassing for me now? GOSH. Luckily I always think more than twice whenever I think I like someone.

Ok, anyway, pictures.
More in Facebook.
Babes in the widest age range ever.

Pony and Xiao Ping.

Roseane asked me to imitate Jay-Chou's stupiak face.
By the way, we met here after our taitai session.
