Make my day, okay?

If you were wondering how you can make Hanxiang's day (if you even bother about me), I'm going to give you some advice here.

Give me a chance to make YOUR day.

Just realised how important it is to me to do something nice to at least one person everyday. It's just something that would make the day complete.

Please people, your jaws are dropping too low and your eyes are opened too wide.

I know this doesn't sound like the usual Siao Ginna Hanxiang and has little entertainment value and is not interesting at all (maybe because you all already know I'm so nice) but sometimes I'll still feel like being honest about myself. HAHA.

No lah.. I just want to say that sometimes it's not easy having my day made. Because you know what? Not everyone is willing to let me be THE ONE to make their day. Yup, chances. Even if it's as simple a thing as being nice to someone, you need to have an opportunity to do it. If not, you'll just be seen as trying too hard, or that you have motives. Sad case right? Want to be a nice person also need to consider SO MUCH.

It's like.. when you smile at a person, it'll only be a 'good smile' if that person wanted to see that smile FROM YOU and not someone else. If you do that and make the person feel like "WAH LAO EH, SHUT UP LAH!", then it's not a good smile anymore, because you made him/her feel worse.

No wonder we always whine that life's hard huh?

Anyway, for today, my day is made. Saw Catherine (one of the colleagues whom I got to know yesterday) in the toilet in the morning frantically washing a part of her skirt because she dirtied it, so when it was clean, it was wet. *Catherine faints*

*Catherine tries to dry her skirt frantically with tissue because it's already 8.45a.m.*

Me: "Hey Catherine, think you just go hide in a cubicle and pass me your skirt. Use the hand dryer thing to dry your skirt faster lah."

Chop chop lah. Better. If not I see her so gan jiong I also gek sim.
5 minutes and it's done. YAY.

*Catherine is relieved, says thank you appreciatively and starts work*

This is an example of how I derive happiness from my life. You can call it 自high-ing if you want, but these are the little things that I find meaning and comfort in.
(Please lor, not everyday is a friend's 21st birthday when old friends can get together, or a vacation to some nice island, or a smile/kiss from a baby/ahgong/ahma (Random: Baby Jerbest kissed me again on Sunday, after the whole exam period of not seeing me!), or a volleyball game at NIE, or blah blah blah..)

I always announce that I'm blessed do you realise?
That's because I'm easily satisfied, which is NOT a bad thing, even when we talk about school grades. (Pass can already, mai ah ni gei gao lah.)
Ok, the smart students out there can start screaming "没用!" at me, but I'll still be like that. SORRY HOR.
Yeah mann.. The way to being happy is to expect less. If you really want to achieve something, give yourself more time. It'll come, one day. It's always like that. According to me.

Oh ya, ever watched the film "Pay It Forward"?
It'll be good if being nice to someone will make them feel like being nice to others too. Then it'll go round and round and the world will become a place with less grumpy faces and more smiley ones (even idiotic smiles are fine). *smiles widely like an idiot*

2 lunch invitations today, which I rejected! See, I told you MOH staff are nice (invited me) and I'm steady (rejected them). Going to enjoy ALONEliness again. YAY!

*gone*

*back*

Lesson of the day: If I want to drink iced coffee next time, it'll be STRICTLY from traditonal coffeeshops, Ya Kun or Wang Jiao. Spent $4.20 on a cup today. WTH?! $1.30 on a tasteless first one which I decided to throw away and $2.90 on the second one that I overestimated. *PUI* Aunties at Ya Kun make their coffee GAO even if you don't request for it. I LIKE.
