Hai.......................

Saw one of my eyecandies just now, but he didn't see me, I think.. The thing is, he doesn't seem as dashing as the first time I saw him.. Now THAT, is what I call, sad.. Maybe it's because of the cap that hid his eyes from me, or maybe it's just cause he wasn't wearing his coloured contacts.. See, people(especially guys), you all can safely be vain and declare it to Hanxiang cause she does not mind it, PROVIDED you're good enough! LOL.. Ok whatever..
Anyway, I've been here, the school library since, like, 9.30am? It's 2.30pm now, so I've basically been studying here for about 5 hrs.. Now that's a personal record! Woohoo! Hmm, ok, maybe only 4 hrs, minus lunchtime.. Err, then again, maybe it's just about 2 hrs, taking away the time spent idling, daydreaming, writing rubbish, drawing nonsense.. Yeah, you get the idea.. HAHA.. But 2 hrs is better than nothing ok.. At least I'm making an effort to study for Financial Management, my worst nemesis.. !!!!! I wonder when I'll finally be able to REALLY get it.. Cause I've thought that I understand the subject quite a number of times already, but I'm always being proven to be disillusioned.. KNS!
Quick rain leh.. Then I can act artistic and start to describe my current mood with reference to the weather, cause that's what I'm feeling right now.. Lethargic and rather grey.. It's so sunny now, U TELL ME HOW? It's the direct opposite of what I want! How ah how.. Why is it so hard for me everytime to write like a proper lady, like those in novels and movies? 难道说我这辈子就注定走废人路线？God is so unfair..

Ok, now I shall teach you all abit about Financial Management:

Lesson 1 - Risk and Rates of Return

1.1 Risk is divided into market risk and diversifiable risk.
Eg. You see your eyecandy approaching you. You're dressed in rags that day. Your attire is market risk. It's a risk because your eyecandy might react towards it with appreciation(maybe he was a beggar in his last life) or more possibly, with disdain(eeewww).. It's market risk because it is non-diversifiable.. That's what you're wearing and you can't just click your fingers and change it right at that moment. In other words, your eyecandy's opinion about your dressing is something you CANNOT avoid.
BUT
Your behaviour is diversifiable risk. You might normally be a tomboy. Your eyecandy might not like it. So based on the assumption that your eyecandy(like all other guys) prefers gentle and demure girls, you can diversify the risk that he might dislike you away by ACTING gentle and yes, demure(WTH).

1.2 The beta coefficient is the best measure of a single investment's risk to a well-diversified portfolio of stocks. The higher the beta coefficient of a stock, the riskier it is.
So this is how it goes:
*In this case study, the risk is defined as seeing your eyecandy with another girl besides yourself.*
a) Beta = 0 = the stock is not risky. Your eyecandy is, for some reason or another, maybe a nerd or on the other hand, a total jerk or.. whatever lah.. I feel sad for you, but HEY, CONGRATS! You can have him all to yourself, cause girls won't be the least attracted to him. So there isn't a risk that some day, you will see him with a girl and feel so upset you lose your appetite and stuff.. Therefore, according to Financial Management, adding Hanxiang's understanding, good stock equals to horrible eyecandies. Now you see why I never am able to click with Financial
Management? It's crappier than me and it sucks.

b) Beta = 0.5 = the stock has half the risk of an average stock. Your eye candy is a nerd or jerk with not-bad looks. So you bear some risk by liking him because girls who have yet to get to know him might be disillusioned. So once in a while you might get upset, but do not worry, not long after, you will see him alone or with his guy friends ONLY again. Reason? The girls got closer and discovered his true character. WOW! All's well again.

c) Beta = 1 = the stock has the amount of risk of an average stock. Your eyecandy is, well, not bad. Good looks, good personality. So it's like, there's always a chance that you might see him with someone of the opposite gender. And the worst thing is, they might actually be happily engaged in a conversation or something. But it's ok, maybe after a while, he will resume single status again. That is time for you to strike. Who knows? You might even have lost interest in him.

d) Beta = 2 = the stock is very risky. Your eyecandy has got killer looks and is super sociable and friendly. He does charity work regularly and loves his family. You always see him studying in the library. UH HUH.. that's the tricky part, because if he's really that good he will be studying diligently alone right? Yes, but too bad, different girls keep coming to him to ask about work, offer chocolates and candies or simply smile their sweetest smile and say hi, or bye. We don't care. The irritating part is he will respond as if he cares a great deal about it all. THIS IS WHAT'S FATAL AND KEEPS THE RISK GOING, and going high.

Ok, guess this shall be the end of lesson 1. Did you get what I was trying to teach you all? NO?! Never mind, this is precisely what education is all about. The teacher teaches until vomit blood and the student still does not, or refuses to understand. UH HUH? It's ok, you will slowly get it..
