Beat it
You can learn a lot from the weather. At least I do.
There was thunder this morning.
I heard it rumbling in the skies since 7.30a.m.
Honestly, as I was stretching with Pilates, I wanted to give up on my run. It was the perfect excuse anyway: It's gonna rain.
The rate of thunder increased and at 8.30a.m. as I was heading out, my Pa tried to stop me.
I went ahead and ran under the kling-kling-klong-klong sky and with the pre-storm wind, which felt good.
A drizzle was just starting as I finished my run. I'm unbelievably lucky.
Run done, great weather now and three tuition sessions later to make me feel useful on a Sunday.
And most importantly, I showed myself again that there's no such thing as 'too late' to do something.
If you can beat the weather, there's nothing else that you can't beat.
***I'll beat the hell out of whoever hurts my close ones. Don't even try.
Ok bye.
