Tuesday tiny thoughts

Sometimes I find myself in a situation where I'm very conscious of what I'm doing and enjoying what I'm doing.

These are the kinds of times when I realise that, Oh.. I actually lost myself for a while there.

It's really true that you have to love yourself first before you're capable of loving another.

I wonder how things were like in the past, during our parents' and grandparents' times and even earlier,

when people were not so vocal, telling everyone in places like Facebook about how they feel. (Comments like "Nobody understands me." do not count as keeping secrets to oneself because you're telling people you have secrets, just that you're not telling. BLAH.)

when people were more shy about confessing to someone they like that they like them.

when relationships were not so easily formed and then as easily given up on, when people's tolerance level for each others' flaws were higher.

when things just took longer to happen.

Sometimes, things that take longer to be accomplished do appear more beautiful, don't they?
