I wonder..
if animals are also caught in embarrassing/awkward moments.
The other day, I saw a black cat with dangerously-thinning hair. It was busy retching and throwing up white liquid and didn't notice the weird stranger (me) looking at it. I asked the cat what was wrong and if it needed help.
NO, REALLY.
It threw me a rather pathetic look and walked away, like being ill is a shameful thing.
I decided to leave it alone instead of following it to see which other quiet corner it has chosen to vomit at.
Just now, I saw a cat with a funny-looking tail, like it was split at the end (extreme case of split end). Again, out of curiosity I found myself staring at its tail. The cat caught me staring, looked right back at me, then its tail, then walked away. This cat walked away with its head held high though. I respected its attitude. So what if your tail is disfigured?
I've decided to be more sensitive to animals.
YOU TOO. DO NOT STARE, ok?
Ok bye.
