Alone.

Sometimes I feel loved.
But there are times too when I feel so alone.
I really didn't know what I should be feeling in a situation like just now when I was making marble cake.

Mum: Oh, marble cake! I have made it before. It's easy.
Me: See, alot of people know how to make this stuff. How am I supposed to succeed selling my baked goods?
Mum: Some people don't have the utensils, some find it troublesome..
Me: Alot of people are getting interested in baking and it's easy.
Mum: THAT'S WHY I SAY YOU SHOULD GIVE UP! Go and find a proper job.
Me: I thought I was testing you. It's ok, go and sleep.
Mum: How I know? Blahblahblah.
Me: Really, GO AND SLEEP.
Mum: You don't feel hot? Need to switch on the fan?
Me: There's air-conditioning in your room.

I'm living with people who are pulling me down to earth, away from my dream. I wouldn't call them enemies, but you do need enough courage to hold on to your dream when everyday you're facing people who are close but yet so far away in some aspects.

One of the few times I feel I'll be stronger left alone.
