On the train.
Was on the train yesterday on the way to work.
It was the usual, wedged between unfamiliar faces that belong to people I might suddenly grab the hands of if I don't look before grabbing the train handles. If you know Hanxiang, you'll know that's highly possible.
Ok, from now on you can call me the Accidental Molester. But too bad, I will never get charged. Hehehehehehe!
Anyway, at a certain stop, there was this person who vacated his/her seat (sorry for lack of details. life's a blur when one's on the way to work.) and I was suddenly pushed backwards by this old lady who was determined to get the seat.
Was a bit shocked. So I started thinking of why Singaporeans can be like that, because as always, everything that happens must happen for a reason!
So I concluded that it was
Because the old lady was afraid that the seat might be snatched by someone who deserves it less than her..
Because she has experienced this before. Either not given a seat by someone younger/stronger or having her rightful seat snatched from her..
Because Singaporeans just refuse to change this lousy lack of good culture..
Because we suck..
NO! Because we're all so tired with our lives and we can't bear standing among strangers and getting our hands grabbed by them and molested..
Because they have experienced that before once upon a time, which made them live forever from then on in constant fear..
AND I SUDDENLY REALISED THAT IT MIGHT BE MY FAULT! I accidentally grabbed everyone's hand before!
Actually I didn't start this blog entry to end it this way. I meant to stop at the line that's in bold.
Somehow it became this way.
Always better to blame myself than others because I can change myself but can never change others.
Maybe that's why I'm always happier. Unhappy people are angry with the world.
Ok, enough. Starting to sound abit insane, like always. (But I KNOW you love this part of me because you're insane too!)
Byebye!
