Christmas Love

Hmmmmm..

This is probably my first official Christmas in all my 22 years. I mean, I have been celebrating it with my family, on and off, but it has never been a big thing, at least not like this year.

Maybe it's because of work. Colleagues have been showering me with lots of love and the company celebrates it properly, with Santa, presents and all. The whole festive feel actually makes me feel somewhat awkward, because I've not been loved in such a way before.

I always feel I'm an everyday person.
An everyday sister to my siblings.
An everyday friend to my friends.
An everyday daughter, niece, cousin.
Someone who doesn't really know how to make people feel special, basically.

So this Christmas, I'm rendered helpless by all this I-can't-even-start-describing warm ad fuzzy Christmas atmosphere. I always feel the need to return well-wishes/favours when I receive them, so it becomes an obligation that I do something for my colleagues.

Then again, I don't dislike this. It's a chance to show my love in return. It's just a little overwhelming.

Anyway.. Miss NYY! Happy 20plus!
Thanks for always being the Best Friend, always being there. Looking forward to seeing you and my other girls on the 24th!
