Things are going better than expected. I'm finally going to achieve my dream of being a kindergarten teacher. Eh, sort of.
Yesterday I was sitting beside a boy, helping the teacher with the class. As I helped him along, he turned to me suddenly when the teacher drew him a star on his worksheet and said, "I win already right?"
"YEAH!"
He then got very excited and gave me an ultra-cute-eyes-gone grin.
If you want to be skeptical, ya, kids nowadays are much more competitive than we were a.k.a. horridly kiasu.
But I think they are always trying their best to imitate adult behaviour because their parents conditioned them to. It's really sweet to see them revealing bits and pieces of their true selves in their little actions, despite how much they want to hide it,
like the one who held my hand when we went to get him water, maybe because he was afraid of the journey from classroom to office which was (I swear) less than 10metres.
Been spending quality time on useless activities like getting cranky with the best friends. I guess this is a paradoxical statement. But I maintain one of my mottos as:
"Never aim to be constructive when I am with the best friends, because most of the times we end up being destructive. WHICH IS SUPER COOL."
Looking forward to spending quality time with my other nutty friends!
I love my family and friends. Sorry I'm always repeating this but I'm really afraid one day I might forget I love them,
because my memory is lousy until the only thing I remember everyday is to take my meals (No. of meals not indicated because it actually fluctuates from 3-7. Don't believe can verify with my Mummy.).
