It's Teachers' Day tomorrow! The last time I celebrated this day was like.. how many years ago? Hmm, give me a minute, 1..2..3.. Wah lao eh, ran out of fingers and toes to use.
Really miss school days! The teachers, both nice and horrible, and the coaches, again, both nice and horrible. You need the horrible, if not, how are you supposed to identify the nice?
That's why I'm always proud of myself and my incorrigi-terri-horrible friends. If not for us, you angels will just be plain and boring I tell you.
Anyway, ya, I miss school! And everything that has to do with school.
Just now I was tuning in to fm933 and there's this Teachers' Day Special. Right after the DJ announced the start of the special, he played Jolin Cai's latest song.
I was like, HUH?! What has Jolin got to do with wonderful Teachers' Day? Can they please play some songs with substance?! Sorry huh, not exactly a Jolin fan.
Though I said life's been peaceful, I don't mean I've not been blessed. Wait till I show you what I received for the past few days. Sweet as honey!
This little apple-y thing is from meimei.
I was telling her I wish someone would get it for me, and well, she did! Instantly but secretly. She's a honey bunny!
Anyway, its gender has been decided. It's a 'her', 'cause I'm traditional and don't fancy having a male on my bed every night.
She doesn't have a fixed name yet though. Sometimes 'Xiao Hong' sometimes 'Da Ping' sometimes other crappy names.
Meimei got me a Little Miss Greedy t-shirt also.
I think I don't have to explain why she got me the greedy one holding a tray of muffins.
T-shirt's in my favourite color, stating loudly what kind of person I am. Though I look like a bak zhang in it, 'cause it's green and too small lah. OK FINE, I'm too big.
This kind of meimei, you tell me how not to sayang?

Before you think I'm self-praising with this photo, WAIT. Look, I taught like, 4 kids this year and she's the only one who remembered.
I'm saying she's a good student, not me a good teacher alright?
