Discussing Doctors

I've been busy at work. Woohoo! Like, FINALLY. Gonna be busy for this week, cause I'm at NUS. MOH is relaxing like hell. Relaxing, but still hell. Hanxiang can be very constructive ok? *proud of myself*

Ok, so I was doing some updating of the database of doctors in Singapore. Looking through their personal files just for the information I require (like their D.O.B.s) got a little boring, so I decided to look deeper. I started to read some of their testimonials (Solid ones, not friendster-ly ones, thank you.).

As I was browsing through them, I regretted not having a pair of shades with me for protection. Recall the riddle: Why does the teacher need to wear sunglasses during lessons? (If you haven't heard of this one, you clearly suffer from a serious lack of childhood. Start grieving please.) Of course I'm not the teacher lah. (Siao ah?! Teach doctors? Mai lai!) I was just kind of dazzled by the reviews of these doctors. Not to forget, the grades they got for their O- and A-levels.

I remember Dr Owen who got like, a Merit and Distinction for his 2 S-papers. And after that I saw that he was also basketball captain of RJC or something. And he took part in all sorts of competitions which I don't really care about. And he's compassionate to patients during his traineeship. And the nurses and other doctors worked well with him. And all sorts of other things I can't give a heck about, BUT STILL..

I guess the only thing that's keeping him from being perfect is that he's too perfect to be true.

And guess what? Under marital status is written SINGLE, in nice and legible handwriting somemore! (Who the hell tried to mislead me by telling me that doctors scrawl instead of write?!)

Ok, FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
Why is it that Dr Owen seems so appealing but he's unbelievably single?
1) The obvious: He's GAY.
2) The hidden: He's suffering from some incurable disease.
3) The saddening: His aura of perfection crushes the self-esteem of every girl who goes near him.
4) The lack: of a picture in his personal file (damn)! Maybe he really looks like a toad.
5) I'm going to tag my own reason. Yours are out-of-point.

Anyway, I received an sms from Yingying that results are RELEASED. Ying: Thanks. Cruel sms, but still, sweet of you.

Anyway, for me, results are RELEASED. Reason: Only monsters and bad stuff of all sorts can be released. *sighs*

So I logged into the examination results page using the office computer, covering my eyes with my palm and frowning and basically behaving like an idiot in front of the computer. I clicked, and you know what?

"You will only be able to view your results after you've settled your outstanding fees of.. blahblahblah."

The semester-ly phenomenon. I NEVER fail to get this EVERY semester. Am I good or what? Ok, maybe I'm just CONSISTENT. So dearest Hanxu is going to help me settle my fees tomorrow. FRIENDS OUT THERE: SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SAY TO ME WITHIN THESE TWO DAYS! IF YOU DON'T HEAR FROM ME AFTER THAT, CHECK OUT THE PAPERS!

Ok lah, not so serious. I might decide to finish this week before I do anything reckless, so you've got 7 days instead of 2. YAY! *smiles widely again like an idiot*

Too lazy for elaborations. Just hope this kind of life can go on and on and never never end.

I'm blessed, really really.
