Looking like..
When the first person tells you you look like a certain someone(whom you don't feel exactly proud looking like),
you can tell him/her he/she's thinking too much. And of course, declare that you don't like that certain someone so please! Please do not feel that you look like her anymore. It's irritating.
When the 2nd person tells you you look like that same certain someone,
you can try to get some laughs out of it by telling him/her that someone has said the same thing before!
And proceed to declare that you don't like that person whom you look like so ya. Blah.
When the 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. and other random people whom you're not even direct friends with say the same thing, you start to get really upset.
Fate really plays with human beings like toys, creating relationships between us and the things we would want to stay far away from.
But it's ok. You continue to be firm and demand that they stop telling you all this bad news.
BUT.
When a Taiwanese colleague tells you that you look like that SAME PERSON (OMG I'm fainting at the sheer coincidence of it all) and that person whom you are told you look like is also a Taiwanese so your Taiwanese colleague SUPPOSEDLY knows best..
the pain is doubled.
"What's your name?" she asks.
"Do you know you look alot like ***? Have people told you that before?"
Erm yes but no thanks.
OK I've decided. Even if we do look alike, it's because SHE looks like ME, and not ME like HER. Get it?
I'm not going to blog who she is. Those who know, let this continue to be a secret between us ok? *smile to The Accomplice*
Maybe I should start cultivating a positive feeling for her.
Eeeeee, but she's nearly half a coconut (hollow) and boring!
Photos of job training coming soon!
Byebye!
