BATTLE MODE

Sometimes I feel the core purpose of my living is to prove people wrong.

We live to do a lot of things, but when failure threatens to overpower me, when I feel most like giving up, it is my need to prove you wrong that sustains me.

Sometimes I wonder if I continue because of the right reason, though in the end, really, whatever works ya?

Funny how when I'm feeling in the pits, what I remember are all those things that tell me I'll regret if I give this up.

I think I'm past being emo.
